Deploy, Troubleshoot, and Maintain WLANs with the Industry's Most Powerful Site Survey Application
TamoGraph is a powerful and user-friendly wireless site survey tool for collecting, visualizing, and analyzing 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi data. Wireless network deployment and maintenance requires the use of a professional RF site survey tool that facilitates otherwise time-consuming and very complex tasks, such as ongoing analysis and reporting of signal strength, noise and interference, channel allocation, data rates, etc. By using TamoGraph, businesses can dramatically reduce the time and costs that are involved in deploying and maintaining WLANs and improve network performance and coverage.
Wireless site surveys are necessary because radio wave propagation is difficult to predict, especially in non-open space environments. It is virtually impossible to consider all the variables that might affect the health and performance of your WLAN. Changing conditions, even something as seemingly minor as a notebook equipped with a legacy 802.11g adapter that your new employee connected to the office wireless network, might seriously impact the WLAN performance.
Key TamoGraph Site Survey Features
- Simple and fast data collection
- Passive and active surveys
- RF planning - create a virtual model and plan your future WLAN
- Comprehensive WLAN analysis with easy-to-understand visualizations of signal level, interference, access point coverage areas, data rates, network issues, etc.
- Automatic access point location
- Detailed information about every access point: channel, maximum data rate, vendor, encryption type, etc.
- Outdoor surveys can be conducted using GPS
- Full support of 802.11ax, as well as 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, and 802.11ac networks
- Detailed reporting in PDF, HTML, and ODT (Microsoft Word) formats
- Attractive, competitive pricing

NetSpot is a software tool for wireless network assessment, scanning, and surveys, analyzing Wi-Fi coverage and performance.[1] It runs on Mac OS X 10.6+ and Windows 7-8-10 and supports 802.11n, 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g wireless networks. NetSpot uses the standard Wi-Fi network adapter and its Airport interface to map radio signal strength and other wireless network parameters, and build reports on that. NetSpot was released in August 2011.[2]
Functions[edit]
Priime styles 1 1 – apply professional photo presets. NetSpot provides all professional wireless site survey features for Wi-Fi and maps coverage of a living area, office space, buildings, etc.[3] It provides visual data to help analyze radio signal leaks, discover noise sources, map channel use, optimize access point locations. Also, the application can perform Wi-Fi network planning: the data that are collected help to select channels and placements for new hotspots. Survey reports can be generated in PDF format.
Usual uses[edit]
- Mapping Wi-Fi
- Mapping Wi-Fi signal strength[4]
- Optimizing networks[5]
- Trouble-shooting networks[6]
- Visualizing wireless networks[7]
